Will I be able to choose the right teacher for my child?
All of our teachers are highly qualified and experienced in teaching children with learning differences. After our telephone conversation with you, we will allocate the teacher that best suits your child’s needs.
Do you have teachers that teach adults and students?
We have teachers who are trained to teach a range of age groups, including adults and students. We will be happy to discuss your needs with you before your first lesson.
Will we have the chance to review how things are going?
Yes, absolutely! It is critical to the success of this arrangement, that we review the progress that each pupil is making, both from the parent’s perspective and also that of the designated tutor. We will provide further details on request.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Yes, we recommend a minimum of one lesson per week, to be scheduled at the same time on the same day of the week, subject to public holidays, bank holidays, etc.
Where do we teach?
100% of our lessons are taught online using a computer. As we teach online, there are no geographical limits. We have students all over the world and in different time-zones. All you need is to have access to the internet, with your computer (desktop, laptop, or tablet, with a loudspeaker and a microphone) to enable audio and video communication between your teacher/tutor and yourself.
When can I start my lessons?
Based on your specific information we will then look at our availability and find the best tutor matching your requirements. After our initial conversation with you, we will ask you to complete the registration form and send the invoice for the first term of lessons. Once we have all the necessary paperwork and have received the payment, you can start your lessons.
How do I pay for my lessons?
All ‘Dyslexpertise’ lessons are paid for monthly in advance for the following month’s series of lessons. The fees must be paid for in full before the first lesson of the term/series. This can be done via Paypal, or by online bank transfer. Our bank account details will be included on the invoice.
What if I can’t make my lesson at the agreed time?
If you are unable to make your lesson, please speak to your teacher at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to see if it might be possible to rearrange it.
What if my teacher/tutor misses a lesson?
On a rare occasion, if your teacher will be absent or unable to deliver your lesson, they will replace that lesson on a day and time suitable for you.
How do I cancel my lessons if I need to?
You can cancel your tuition agreement by giving two weeks notice in writing (by email) to firstname.lastname@example.org
